The Lincat OE8416 Opus 800 Ignite Electric Countertop Chargrill is a high-capacity professional chargrill designed for busy commercial kitchens. With 10.8kW of power, an 850mm-wide format and a generous 750 x 600mm cooking area, it provides the capacity needed for high volume grilling while authentic flame-grilled flavour without the need for a gas supply. The OE8416 features real flame-grilled technology, heavy-duty segmented cast iron grids and three independently controlled heat zones, giving chefs precise control over different areas of the cooking surface. The grids create distinctive branding marks, while the enamelled base plate and three-piece stainless-steel splashback help simplify cleaning. Its vaporising technology converts grease and food debris into ash for straightforward sweep-out cleaning. Designed for efficiency as well as performance, Lincat states that the Ignite range uses 41% less energy and is three times faster to clean than its previous Direct Cook Chargrill, while the OE8416 provides 23% more usable cooking space. Built in Britain as part of the Opus 800 range, it is supplied with a grid lifting tool and cleaning rake, with optional accessories including a resting rack, garnish rail and stand.
