Perfect for use in large catering premises, the Solid Top oven has enough space for much larger cooking pots and pans. With the ability to reach much higher temperatures than a standard 6 or 8 burner range the Solid Top can happily sustain temperatures of 400°C. With heat radiating throughout the plate, giving the chef ultimate control in his cooking choices as he can move cooked portions to the outer edge and keep them warm or simmering and keep the food in need of cooking closer to the centre. Some units also have a removable "Bullseye Plate" located in the centre which can be removed and allows for easier wok cooking. Usually built out of top quality culinary grade stainless steel, these units are more durable than their 6 or 8 burner counterparts offering a robust piece of catering equipment built to last the daily rigors of the busy commercial kitchen.
