The Merlin 3000S Demand Control Interlocking Panel stands out as a fully automated kitchen control system, all contained within a sleek user friendly control panel. The Merlin 3000S is designed to offer full control of any commercial kitchen, with a host of features to offer. From varying speeds of the extraction fan systems via a 0-10v DC output depending on both CO2 and gas usage. Along with controlling fan speeds the panel has the option of a proving system (Required for use with appliances lacking in FFDs).
Smoke & Steam detection in the canopy can also be monitored via optical sensors or heat detection in the extraction ducting using a temperature sensor. For the most accurate and safest results, all the sensors should be used together.Fan Speeds:When CO2 levels or gas usage increases in the kitchen, the
Merlin 3000S is able to automatically increase the RPM of the fans used in the ventilation system to help maintain a comfortable working environment. This system works in times of minimal gas usage as well, by reducing fan speeds as needed. This results in a quieter kitchen, with the added benefits saving of energy and running costs.
Carbon Monoxide & Dioxide monitoring:The monitoring and removal of these harmful gases is essential for smooth and most importantly safe running of the commercial kitchen. By monitoring levels of these gases regardless of if the system is powered ON or OFF, the Merlin 3000S is able to activate the extraction system to expel them from the kitchen by itself, Removing the need for user intervention.
The
Merlin 3000S also provides an optional gas pressure proving system alongside it's other core features, which is required when any equipment used within the kitchen lacks a
FFD (Flame failure device).
