What business is the Merrychef E1S typically suited for?

The E1S is the smallest model of the entire range. It is ideally suited for smaller cafes, bars, sandwich shops. Businesses that are aiming to up their throughput of heated sandwiches and snacks

 

Is there anything the Merrychef E1S cannot cook?

Like all other Merrychef ovens, this model features a catalytic convertor. Despite this, heavy protein cooking.. which tends to be raw chicken or bacon can hinder the ovens function and potentially cause issues further down the line.
Regenerating these meats from cooked is a viable option, but if your menu is heavily protein dependant - The ideal model to consider would be the Merrychef E4.

 

How fast is a Merrychef oven at cooking?

The E1S can cook up to 10 times faster than a conventional oven. To put this is perspective - a cheese and ham toastie can cook in 70 seconds, a fresh pizza? just under 2 minutes.

 

How easy is the oven to clean?

Cleaning all Merrychef ovens is a simple and stress free operation. To keep your oven in tip top condition, you will ideally want to clean it after service each day.
