Fan assisted convection ovens circulate heat evenly around the chamber, cooking the food consistently no matter where in the oven it is. This 'gentle' cooking method is ideal for cooking large quantities of meat, vegetables, pies and pastries. Particularly popular in establishments such as bakeries, (particularly chains such as Subway, Greggs and Diggles.) cafes, coffee shops (particularly the chains such as Costa, Starbucks etc.)and restaurants. With most offerings including features such as timers, digital controls and displays and some even having a cook and hold feature.
In recent years we have seen an increase in High speed convection oven cooking flood the market in the UK, with Merrychef and Turbochef leading the charge. These units are ideal for cooking smaller amounts of food very quickly, seen in High Street chains such as Costa, Subway and Greggs they are ideal cook while you wait (and the wait isn't long)
We have some of the biggest names in convection cooking on the market including but not limited too the market leaders Blue Seal and their Turbofan ovens, a common sight in commercial kitchens up and down the UK, ideal for hotels with day service cooking. We also have offerings from brands such as; Lincat, Falcon, Smeg, Turbochef, Merrychef, Roller Grill and Cater-Cook.
